Trainer

As a personal trainer, what was the most difficult aspect when you first started?

As a personal trainer the first struggle I had was knowing exactly what to do. Meaning I had a certification and a degree in the fitness industry but now it is learning how to input this knowledge and succeed as a personal trainer. One of things that was hard was learning how to overcome objections when selling personal training but once you understand the reason of your clients’ needs and their goals you will then be able to excel at the selling part of your job. Personal training is a very rewarding job, that not only gets to help people become a better version of themselves but it also helps you as an individual become a more knowledgeable person.

How did Elias contribute to your development?

Elias was a mentor in which I owe my career path through 24-hour fitness to. He showed me a path that allowed me to grow as an individual. He showed me what it took to be 120 session trainer and how I could achieve it consistently and that there was more to 24-hour fitness that I could offer other than being just a master trainer. At first I thought he was stern and strict but I soon realized that he was just showing me that I had more to offer and that if I approached things differently my outcome would be more successful. A key example in which I use every day of my career as a manager is building a foundation to a client or even an employee to show them how to build from the bottom and then guiding them on steps to achieving their goals.

How would you describe working with Elias?

Working with Elias was a learning experience he shows you guidance through experience rather than just talking about it. I always felt comfortable approaching him with questions that I had or felt that he was there to help me grow into a better version of myself by bringing out my strengths. He valued my opinion and prepared me for my next step to my career.

How does Elias stand out from other trainers you have worked with?

Elias training differs from other trainers by the research and dedication he brings to each client’s program design. He values other trainer’s styles and learns how he can implement their ideas into his programs but with his own touch. He is very hands on with his clients and makes sure that each individual feels comfortable and also feels that they are getting his full attention. When you are in a session with Elias you feel like you are the only one in the gym because all eyes are on you.

Elias' style is different than other trainers because he incorporates exercises and techniques based on the individuals needs and wants. If he sees an exercise from another trainer, he then will ask that other trainer to show himself how they would teach that particular exercise on him so that he can incorporate it in his program but will add Elias flare to it. Elias is a master trainer that goes above and beyond for his clients because he lives and breathes the value of fitness in his own life. Always changing his routines by experimenting different forms of exercise in his own life.

What do you enjoy about training with Elias?

The reason I personally would train with Elias because he truly cares about each individual and values their offerings as well. As a trainer you personally grow in strength through the enlightenment and compassion of your clients. Elias is a prime example of that, he sees what the value of knowledge and adaption to changes of the fitness industry brings to the table and uses it in the reflection of his program design. Anyone that becomes a client of Elias’s not only will change their physical approach they will change mentally as a residue from Elias’s guidance to being a better individual.
